Stockingford – Fatma Bibi
Fatma Bibi is 24 years old and attended Birmingham City University to study Fashion Design. Having moved from Birmingham to set up roots in Nuneaton 5 years ago, Fatma now has 2 young children who were born at George Eliot Hospital.
Fatma has the honour of being selected as the Labour Party candidate for the Stockingford division.
Fatma’s key aims would be to improve core services within the area of Stockingford. Services including transport, NHS services such as doctor’s surgery appointments. Fatma will liaise with the police to tackle anti-social behaviour, as well as ensuring all residents are offered the full Covid-19 vaccine programme.
Fatma pledges to hold regular surgeries in Stockingford and to engage with residents. She will scrutinise the decisions of the County Council and take the views and concerns of the residents to Shire Hall. She will utilise the powers given to County Councillors to their full efficiency to serve residents in Stockingford. Fatma will network with all stakeholders within the County to improve services and investment in Stockingford.
Fatma comments ‘ If I am elected, I will assure you that I will not shy away from the hard work, campaigning tirelessly for the voices of the residents to be herd at the County Council. Campaigning in the chamber for their rights and privileges to be noted and acted upon. As that’s what will bring a more prosperous society, building stronger communities so that we can deal with any upcoming problems that arise’.
