Ian Lloyd

Ian Lloyd is married with two grown up children, four grandchildren and has represented Camp Hill ward since 2009. Ian has been a councillor for over 20 years and during that time he has worked hard with many local people to help transform Camp Hill to create a new village centre, new housing, a community centre that is second to none, a window replacement and home insulation programme for council houses, along with the creation of a new skate park.

Labour will

  • Continue its multi-million-pound plan to transform our town centres, boost trade, support local business and help create more jobs for local people. Labour will work to bring new companies to our borough and invest in people so that local people can access local jobs.

  • Build new leisure centres at the Pingles and in Bedworth, transform Riversley Park and deliver record investment in our parks and open spaces across the borough.

  • Deliver 200 more Council Homes within four years, continue the modular housing programme and Secure 25% more affordable homes across the Borough for the next generation to get on the ladder.

  • Increase our response team to ensure fly tipping is cleared quicker, invest in more CCTV and prosecute those who fail to abide by the rules.

Camp Hill is blessed with three beautiful wild life areas: Whittleford park off Queen Elizabeth Rd, Stubs Pool and Windmill nature park off Mancetter Rd.

Ian says “If re-elected I will be working to gain funding and build on the previous consultation on our destination parks and make further improvements to expand and improve Whittleford Park and our green spaces. I will seek to improve existing paths, introduce more tree planting, create children’s activity areas with the ambition to develop a visitors centre to serve all of Camp Hill’s wild life areas that will enable local school children to learn about nature and wildlife in Camp Hill.”

Re-elect Cllr Ian Lloyd on Thursday 6th May so this work can continue.
