Labour is committed to keeping our Borough clean and tidy, making our environment safer for residents and wildlife alike. Under Labour, our Borough Council’s Waste Enforcement team have now installed smart cameras in ‘hot spot’ areas within Nuneaton and Bedworth, where the unlawful disposal of waste is a continuing problem. Those who fly-tip in our borough risk an unlimited fine and potentially a criminal record.

As well as new smart cameras, Labour will invest in more patrols to combat those who don’t play by the book. Our Borough’s response team will be increased in size to ensure illegal waste is cleared quicker. Labour will also support more community litter picks, working with residents to encourage everyone to keep Nuneaton and Bedworth tidy.
