“Dear Resident,

I am your Labour Party Candidate in the forthcoming elections in Bulkington (Borough) and Whitestone & Bulkington (County).

I have a vast knowledge of Local Government over many years, both representing Union members in my role as a Union Officer but also as a former Council Leader.

These elections are very important in ensuring that your area has a strong voice both at Nuneaton but also at Warwick, where the current Tory administration are looking to create a single Council for the whole of Warwickshire.

So, why are the elections being held on Thursday 6th May, before the lockdown restrictions are over and the vaccination process complete? Why will we still be using some Schools as Polling Stations when children have lost so much time already during the pandemic?

I believe that the Conservatives think that many people will be put off voting due to the current crisis and that a low turnout will suit them. If this is not the case, then why not have the Vote on Saturday May 8th or at the end of the month when schools will be on half-term?

I will ensure that if elected your voice will be heard where it matters.

Don’t be put off from voting.

Please give me your support.”
