Introducing the new opposition Labour group on Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council. The new opposition group leader is Cllr Chris Watkins (Kingswood) and deputy group leader is Makayla Rudkin (Bede).

Cllr Chris Watkins says: “Labour will be a responsible opposition, holding the new Conservative administration to account, to ensure they deliver on their manifesto promises. We will also be a polite opposition, promoting the values of decency and respect. We will listen to the residents of our Borough as key decisions are made.”

Chris added: “Unfortunately there already appear to be question marks around the sums the new Conservative group have put in their first report to full Council – they simply don’t add up.”
