St. Nicolas ward resident Eric Amaechi is delighted to have been selected as the Labour Party candidate for St. Nicolas for the May 2022 elections.

Eric moved into Nuneaton from Coventry, where he lived and worked for more than 11 years. He obtained his first and second degrees from Coventry University (Business Management and IT Management respectively). He is currently pursuing his PhD in Cyber Security with Coventry University.

Eric works as a Senior Business Analyst with Coventry University and he has worked for various organisations, both in public and private organisations in the UK. He already enjoys working with communities in voluntary based roles which involve supporting local groups, reaching out to local communities, supporting community groups, and actively promoting the work and efforts of young and old people alike.

Eric says: “As an elected position with an extremely broad remit, I believe this role provides candidates like myself with a great opportunity to make a real difference and to become a champion for St. Nicolas Park, Horeston Grange and the Long Shoot. I am an ordinary person with the same concerns that we all have at one time or another, so I hope, if elected, to be able to campaign for change for St. Nicolas.”
